New Haven, CT - Principal and religion teacher lead a moment of silence for the victims of the Sandy Hook school shootings. Bethlehem Peace Light was present and flame was then transferred to the vigil light at St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church.

Eagle Scout Austin Sabbagha receives the Peace Light from Dr. Taisar Browar - Plast Ukrainian Scouts (Chicago)  in Oak Brook, Illinois. Austin is a member of  Three Fires Council Troop 14 of Elmhurst, IL. Austin will share the light with First Congregational Church of Western Springs, Illinois tomorrow, to be used to light the Christ candle during the Christmas Eve service.
Ukrainian Scouts from Washington, DC picked up the Peace Light in Philadelphia, PA on Sat., 12/22 to be delivered to Baltimore, Md. and on back to Washington, DC.

Transferred the Peace Light this morning at the 9:30 am service at Hubbard First United Methodist Church of Hubbard, OH during the Children's Message to Pastor Brad Bloomster who then passed it to an acolyte to light the Christ Candle
On December 22 The Bethlehem Peace Light was Present at Christmas gathering of Polish scouts, cub scouts, brownies, and was taken to their homes. The Peace Light was available to parishioners after Masses at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church Worcester Ma.
The Peace Light was delivered to Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Vienna, VA this evening. Jim Hunter of Troop 1548 was assisted by Eric Schlier and Bob Freeman of Troop 987 in the ceremony. Emmanuel Lutheran Church intends to keep the flame burning through Christmas.
The Peace Light was given to me by our Scoutmaster Chad Nabity at our Troop Christmas dinner tonight. I transferred it to an oil lamp when I got home. My family and I are part of Troop 114 in Grand Island Nebraska. He shared with our Troop and their families tonight the significance of the Peace Light and where it comes from. It made me want to take part, Thank you Chad for inspiring us all!

On Dec. 24th, Christmas Eve, Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral in Washington, DC receives the Peace Light from members of Ukrainian Scouts Troop 45: Ruslan, Lukash and Roman Onyshkewych.  The scouts will be passing on the Peace Light to other churches and the Ukrainian community in Washington, DC and vicinity.

Compliments of the Venture Crew and Sue Dooley, their Advisor, the Peace Light was once again the feature of Middleton, New Hampshire's Annual Children's Christmas Party. With the Peace Light prominently displayed on stage, Santa Claus and Mrs. Santa Claus invited children to come up and present their Christmas wishes. Santa and Mrs. Claus wished everyone the Peace of Christmas.
