We received the flame at the Toronto Distillery District tonight and will take it to St. Lawrence Catholic School in Scarborough, on Monday, Dec. 8th, to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 131 McCaul St., Toronto, on Sunday, Dec. 14th at 10am and to Beaver, Cubs, Scouts and Venturer groups of 4 Scarborough West Troop.

The Peace Light arrived in Toronto from Austria on Dec.2 2014, and we received it at the Distillery District Christmas Market that evening. Present were Plast Ukrainian Scouts (Hrebli) as well as other Scouts. We wish everyone peace and goodwill this upcoming holiday season!
On the left is a representative from the Latvian Scouts, in the centre is a representative from the Lithuanian Scouts. Wolfgang Kerndler of Austrian Airlines is lighting a blast proof miners lamp from one of the blast proof miners lamps that flew over the Atlantic. It is very unusual to see 3 blast proof miners lamps in one place.

The Polish Scouting Org. Scout Leaders were honored to attend a transfer of light ceremony with PLAST Ukrainian Scouts on 12/13/14 - in Whippany, NJ. We held a ceremony today after the 12:30 mass where the Pauline Fathers and the Polish Scout Leaders shared the light with parishioners at the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa Doylestown in PA.

The Peace Light has traveled to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa, 654 Ferry Road, Doylestown, PA, . It arrived from Clifton, NJ, with Scout Master Adam Pacholarz and was received by National Polish Scout Chaplain Father Bartlomiej Marciniak. Scout leaders Anna Radko van Ouwerkerk and Jagoda Rojek were present with representatives of their troops in Doylestown - Wild Strawberries, and Philadelphia - and Polish Colorful Birds respectively.

The Peace Light has arrived at The Presbytery of Carlisle and Synod of the Trinity offices in Camp Hill. Mike Mittel (pictured) of Hagerstown, Md., stopped by for the flame today. He is with the Mason Dixon Boy Scout Council and will be sharing the flame with churches from the Hagerstown area.

The Peace Light will be at the Alter of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church on Church Hill Road, Sandy Hook, CT on Dec. 14, 2014 to receive everyone during church services. Dec. 14, 2014 is the 2nd anniversary of the Sandy Hook School shooting tragedy taking the lives of 20 children, our Angels and 6 school employees, our Heroes.

The Peace Light was delivered to St Rose of Lima Catholic Church at 2:15 PM. In speaking with Monsignor Weiss and telling him of the Peace Light journey, I could see that he was very moved to have brought the Peace Light to his church. The Monsignor was very thankful for the opportunity to share with Sandy Hook Community.
